Old family friend passed away
« on: January 31, 2010, 10:01:14 PM »
This morning. We knew it was coming, but it always sucks. He was much more of a grandfather than my real one ever was (who died probably 2 months ago now). And in the same respect, he was more of a father to my Dad than his real father ever was. Now all my Dad has left is his Mum, who isn't exactly in the best health either. Sad time, and I know my Dad is devastated. Just wish there was something I could do.

Thanks guys, I'll be fine. It's hard to know how Dad's really taking it, he never shows anything. I'm taking him to the cricket on Sunday, I know he's looking forward to that.

Good idea, probably a good way for him and you to cope with it. Stick together, man.
