Lionsgate have helped the movie out a fair bit according to Atom/Will Eubank... setting the band up with some major film editors etc (who I already named in a different topic).

But they haven't decided to go with Lionsgate yet, and according to Atom, the studios that were interested (he also named Miramax)... they wanted a very big cut of the action to market the movie heavily.

Mind you I have nothing against this movie, I'm really stoked for it to come out actually and hope it is successful and great. It's just that Tom has said so much BS about everything, including the movie, I just can't get excited for it at all anymore until it actually is fully out to the public. I don't believe in hyping up something for four years.

fair enough.

and i still believe the music is going to be garbage and unsuccessful. just because it has Lionsgate stapled to it doesn't promise anything.

Does the begining of Start The Machine have a Love trailer in it?

I downloaded Start The Machine through a Torrent site, and it had a preview for the Love movie before the movie.

It was one I had never seen before, and it seemed like it didnt belong.

Seeing if anyone else had seen it, it has the old guy on a motorcycle also.

This movie cost 2 million to make...

Never mind the fact AVA can shift DVDs/albums (with their fan-base) in the hundred-thousands...

If this gets any kind of release with a distributor (and some big ones have shown interest), it will easily make that money back and more... even on a limited release.

There are millions of Sci-fi fans out there who haven't even heard of this movie yet... many will be interested, even if some Blink fans hate all the "spacey, obscure shit".

Many trailers are deliberatley vague, especially in Sci-fi films (Inception)... fuck (nevermind trailers), the whole of the "2001: A Space Odyssey" movie is more vague than this trailer.
