Modlife is so much of a failure that thanks to it, all of them know me and the other regulars modlifers.

Ironically this counts as evidence that Modlife is a failure. There are so few of you hardcore fans that they're bound to get to know you.

I think modlife can work because it's customizable.

All sites are.

There are thousands of professional web designers who can set up a site with all the functions that Modlife can offer and it won't cost you much. So why devote yourself to Tom's project?

How is modlife a failure?

They all have been busy with their own stuff and with the things they make for us.
Tom has 2 kids, 2 bands, 3 companies..
They have been busy finishing the movie and they are making music to put on the movie and
also on the new version of the LOVE record..

People who has been there since the beginning totally understand that they havent been
updating so much and we know that its not always like this..

And also, you dont need to pay if you dont want, which means you can stop complaining............
you don'T understand my point. i'm not tallking specifically about AVA's use of modlife but about its overall use.
just look at all the different sections like "health, games, lifestyle, tv/films...." . not one is active. seeing all those different sections and having tom's predictions of what modlife was supposed to become in mind it IS a failure.
modlife is an expensive ghost town (ex. korn and ava)

that makes sense but for me they just need to put more money in marketing.. modlife is a great idea and it works fine for big bands,
like ava
and korn, because they have people who are interested on it. but the other small bands and unknown people cant stay
active for too long since they dont have enough fans.. unless they spread the word.

AVA isn't a big band, there are just a ton teenage girls (like you) who want Tom's dick.
stick around, nostalgia won't let you down.

Actually, as far as I know, getting a professional web designer to fix up something as intricate as that for you is expensive as hell. And what do you mean it won't cost you much? Like if you're a band? I thought the whole idea was that people could get a modlife for free. So then isn't the comparison here between signing up for an account on myspace vs. hiring a professional to design your own myspace page?

Blink-182 shaped my life, I find it hard to believe that Tom Delonge can front a band with the most retarded fans in the world, I would slate but all that needs to be said has been said, enjoy paying your sub fees for absolutely nothing.

I was a modlife subscriber for like two years. Like I said, the ONLY time I thought it was worth it was before Warped Tour when they got on all the time. And when I got to go to the Meet & Greet. I resubscribed when they went on their last tour just so I could meet them again. Just realized the other day I'm actually still subscribed, and I'll admit I've been throwing my money away. It is such a waste. Everything they put up there you can easily get for free anywhere else within like a day. Plus one huge reason I subscribed was for the "exclusive music" we were promised. Well, I waited years, and never got any. Fuck. Back when Modlife was little the chatroom was kind of cool because you could actually talk to the band members, but now your message is gone off the screen in like .02 seconds because of the flood of other messages the band gets. It sucks.

geez guys, be bigger dicks if possible.  If she wants to waste her or more likely, her parent's money on a glorified myspace page, thats her problem.  I'm sure there exist worse things to throw away money on... though I can't think of any.
Pretty shitty that it never delivered though, wheres all those remixes and live concerts we were promissed?

We all had a great time at the shows and OH we got to be in front of you, non modlifers, in the line.
Been on modlife for 2 and half years and paying for it has been so worth.

Oh wow, I am so jealous!
"We told [TOM] if we were going to record the album separately, in different studios, our band was ceasing to be a BAND. The magic in the studio is created when the three of us are there TOGETHER, working on parts, discussing, sometimes arguing, all pushing the album forward. Trying to frankenstein a cd together by mailing each other pro tools files to work on in our own private studios was ridiculous. It would lessen the entire album. It would be a terrible cd"...............Mark Hoppus.

k so i dont know why we have to offend each other because some people pay for modlife and some people don't.
i love modlife and i agree that the other websites arent used as much as the ava/korn ones..
so have fun judging people because they pay for a website and you dont.. if that makes sense.

you're a cunt
Also I think the "Date Fell short" part is used far too much and with too many different variations which gives the song a lack of a decent ending. Obviously the end is the "Date Feel Short" part with the band fully going at it, but we've already heard it so much in the song prior, it just doesn't quite get me.

There are a shit load of people who have no life.

cant even believe that theres a debate on whether or not modlife is a failure. modlife=fuckin stupid waste of money. toms so full of shit, and on top of that he cant sound good singing without autotune. newsflash tom, the music industry is still failing and modlife isnt doing a damn thing to help. what a joke!
