This is going to suck

why do you even bother posting

Oh, I'm sorry. I said something you didn't like, that means I should probably hold back from saying anything right?

No it's just that you never seem to have anything positive to say. So why say it at all. It's almost as if you state your opinion as if its a fact. "This is going to suck" So just cause you said it with your negativity you're automatically set on thinking it will suck. Without even having heard the album at all yet. Could be some songs that you enjoy on it, you just seem like a close minded negative person if thats how you wanna be.

You're most likely right. I'm sure I will like a couple songs, I'm basing my opinion off of their past couple albums though. It was the same thing with them. I liked a couple songs and then the rest were eh. I don't have high hopes for it based on that. I'm not close minded though, I just kinda say the first thing to come to mind when I post. That's probably why I come off as a dick sometimes. I often rethink what I say later, but it's too late at that point. I could always try the "not posting" thing, but I'm too stubborn and will probably have an anxiety attack for not saying anything. Me and the boards have always had a relationship like that. I guess you can say that the boards and I are caught in a bad romance.

Eh, it's kinda corny and blah too me. Half of the red album is great, the second half is really bad.

Weezer's new stuff is VERY hit and miss with me. I like the new song but my hopes for this album being great aren't very high.

What I think people are over looking here is in the space of 2 years 4 months they've released 3 albums!

For some bands they couldn't even manage half an album in that time!

Some of you may go on about there are only a few great tracks on each album and the rest is filler. In that case make a mix tape or play list. You've got a solid album in the same length of time in which an artist would normal put an album out in.

For everyone else, and the weezer fans we have x3 as much music. Which I for one release. I love the great stuff, but I would still rather a sub par weezer tune than no new weezer at all.

Lets be fair, if blink release a cd of feedback and fart noises you'd probably lap that up anyway.

Well, they started work on the Red album back in 07, so technically they've written and recorded three albums in a 3 year span. But yeah, I get your point. Weezer usually takes their time or put out albums like madmen.

Also, I don't think much "thought" went into Raditude.

Could they make it any more obvious that they are relying on the popularity of their old songs too keep them relevant?  This is a band that is capable of making great songs, and this is nothing even close to an attempt to make a great song.  Overwhelmingly average, like 90% of their songs are, but now it's getting a little old.

Hurly nom!
I'm in love with 90% of Weezer's shit, though I like to believe that some of it is a joke on purpose.

Five songs in and it's already better than Red and Make Believe. I'm just going to say it's better than Ratitude even though I haven't heard it.

One song in and already love it, one song in and its better than every song on Raditude, I've got a good feeling for this album.  If its only just as good as Red, I'll be happy, just so long as its not another Raditude or Make Believe, or even worse, then I'm happy.

I just finished listening to the the entire album and I hated it so much that I felt compelled to post about it.  It's baffling to me to hear such mediocre shit come from such a talented band, I can't even believe they released it.  This album was half assed.
