I would just CNC the body out of a block of lucite, for a single piece block it'd probably be somewhere well over 100 (can't find any to meet that size, but half the size is $60, so a really rough guestimate). Though my mill is usually only used for hardware so I doubt it has the throw to be able to do the whole body, leaving the rest up to me and template routing most likely. All in all I'd probably make and sell a body alone (assuming I was able to) for around 250 depending on how much hands on work/time is required. Not sure on what feed speeds and rotary RPMs are required to keep it from cracking while being machined, but I'm sure it shouldn't be too difficult.
And the neck is birdseye maple, beautiful figuring for not much more than the cost of a standard maple neck.
