My mom is going into surgery tomorrow morning to fix a crushed  disk in her neck.  I am starting to get worried.  She had the same exact surgery a few years ago and they put a metal plate in her neck and one of the screws broke so they also have to fix this.  Everything went fine back then and I am sure everything will be fine this time.  I just get worried when people I love have medical problems.  Especially surgeries.  The docotr said she is going to have these problems for the rest of her life because sometimes the weight of the metal plate pushing down on the other disks can crush them and that is what is happening to her.  I guess I better get used to her having medical problems.  cry
